Looking to get your Grunge-metal fix? Evil Veto will be playing in The Pint on Eden Quay on the 8th of December 2011. The format will be similar to the gig we played back in October with a number of acts playing 30 minute sets and a wide range of musical styles. Doors open at 8pm and admission is €5 on the door. The Performance 2011 unsigned bands festival will take place in The Sugar Club from December 27th to 29th. The festival showcases the best up and coming talent on the Irish music scene, with over 100 acts appearing on two stages over the three days. Evil Veto will be appearing on the evening of the 27th December, and tickets are available from band members priced at 10 euro for the day. Three day tickets are also available from the WAV box office priced at 25 euro.

Evil Veto would like to thank all the fans who came out for the Live & Unsigned battle of the bands in The Pint last night for the great support. The band were delighted to be declared winners on the night, with the judges praising the originality of the material. The excellent prize was a photo-shoot with David Doyle photography and two days recording in Elektra Studios in Templebar.

Yes, you read it correctly! Evil Veto have entered a competition where the top prize is a support slot with Westlife at the O2 in Dublin. Evil Veto's next gig is on the 13th of October at The Pint on Eden Quay. The night will have 6 acts playing a wide range of musical styles, with each band getting to play a half an hour each. Doors open at 7pm and the first act goes on at 8pm. It's €5 on the door, but there is usually a drinks promotion on that will help you to recoup that quickly enough. Come one, come all and watch us rock the pants off another venue!
